You were such a good sport on my last comment ;-).

1. Sometime in April, 2003 in Worcester, MA.

2. Maybe 150 miles tops.

3. I don't know. I think it depends upon the attitude held by the people actually having the wedding. I can't stand the "this is my big day" kind of people--get over yourself.

4. Brushing shoulders with people you'd rather not see and having to make small talk--lots of uncomfortable fun to be had there. Hence why weddings are known for open bars.

5. I do not like the whole "handing over of the bride" bit. I can't stand the idea of being "given" to anyone.

6. I don't have a usual gift, actually. Generally, I take into account who the wedding is for. However, if I'm going to a wedding where I know I was only invited to add numbers to the guest list, wine glasses do for me just fine.

7. I actually have no idea because I've never really focused on the food.

8. The weddings I've been to have been rather dull in comparison to your own experiences.

9. No, I have not. I usually come with a date, even if the guy is just a bud. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong.

10. I would prefer the "no wedding" option.
